About Us

Tina Kramell Gordon is the owner of Independence Preschool and Child Care LLC. Growing up in western New York, Ms. Tina dreamt of managing and running her own high-quality preschool. She fulfilled her dream in 2003 by opening her own facility in Arizona.

    Ms. Tina obtained an Associates Degree in Early Childhood from the State University of New York at Cobleskill. She continued on, earning her Bachelor’s of Art in Elementary Education from the State University of New York at Geneseo. In 2005, Ms. Tina obtained a Masters Degree in Special Education from the University of Phoenix.

Ms. Tina began her teaching career in Buffalo, NY as a preschool teacher. She moved to Arizona in 1997 and taught first grade until the birth of her first child. Inspired by the birth of her second child, Ms. Tina opened Independence Preschool and Childcare LLC Providing educational excellence to preschool children.

Ms. Tina resides in Queen Creek with her husband, Jake. Jake is a Gilbert Firefighter and EMT with an Associates Degree and a proud co-owner of Independence Preschool and Childcare LLC. Ms. Tina and Mr. Jake raised their blended family together. Ms. Tina has two girls and Mr. Jake has two boys. The children are now grown adults, making their own way in life.
