Every child attending Independence Preschool
and Child Care LLC is evaluated and
provided with an individual portfolio.
The portfolio contains
your child’s strengths and prior knowledge.
Ms. Tina will establish new learning goals
which will be set for your child.
Your child will be reevaluated every
four months and the results will be shared with you.
Your child will have a workbook that is age
appropriate for your child.
They will work in this book daily.
They will also take part in daily activities
that are planned for the whole group.
We teach in thematic units
which means we will focus on one
academic goal at a time.
One week we may be learning all about shapes.
The next week we may be learning
about butterflies, it will depend
on the time of year what lessons are incorporated.
Our goal at Independence Preschool and Child Care LLC is Kindergarten readiness through
individual and group activities.
We also have circle time
where we do calendar math, read stories,
sing songs and converse together as a group.
